Rob Wilhite has 40 years of experience in leadership roles within the energy industry, focusing on strategy advisory, technology evaluation, and EPC. His expertise includes distributed energy, grid modernization, master planning, and operational improvement. He has experience leading and growing global advisory practices, implementing M&A transactions, fostering executive relationships, and developing senior-level talent. Rob has contributed to the industry through various associations, including GridWise Alliance as a board director and executive committee member, the City of Belmont's Environmental Sustainability Board as chairman, and the Global Smart Grid Federation as a board director and officer. He has been recognized by Consulting Magazine as one of the top 25 consultants in the U.S., cited by Greentech Media as one of the Networked Grid 100 Movers and Shakers of the Smart Grid, and participated in President Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. Most recently, Rob led a team to develop and present a master energy and telecommunications infrastructure plan (America 3.0) to Sen. Chuck Schumer as his firm’s input into shaping the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act.
