Peter Asmus is a veteran researcher, analyst, book author, public speaker and journalist that has been tracking cutting edge energy issues for more than three decades. Mr. Asmus serves as President of Pathfinder Communications, adjunct faculty to the Alaska Center for Energy and Power (ACEP), and Executive Director of the Alaska Microgrid Group. He recently served for two years as Director, Strategic Marketing for Uplight (AutoGrid), and previously as Research Director for Guidehouse Insights microgrid research program. He is the author of four books covering key energy market issues and has been published in major publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Christian Science Monitor, San Francisco Chronicle, Los Angeles Times and Sacramento Bee, Forbes, Utility Dive, Public Utilities Fortnightly and T&D World.
